WHAT BACTERIA IS INSIDE SILOSOLVE® MC?

Strains matter, and SiloSolve® MC uses three unique bacteria strains:

Lactococcus lactis (SR3.54) inhibits clostridia and other spoilage organisms, enhances protein preservation, and reduces dry matter losses.

Lactobacillus plantarum (CH6072) enhances fibre digestion.

Enterococcus faecium (DSM 22502) inhibits the growth of yeasts and moulds.

SiloSolve® MC reduces clostridia fermentation

SiloSolve® MC contains the patented organism L. lactis (SR3.54), which has been shown in trials to greatly reduce the growth of clostridia in silage when compared to untreated and inoculant-treated silages.

SiloSolve® MC Improves energy corrected milk yield

SiloSolve® MC consistently improves fermentation which leads to a significant increase in milk production. Cows fed SiloSolve® MC treated maize silage had increased efficiency of milk production through an 8% reduction in dry matter intake and a 2% increase in energy corrected milk (ECM) yield. A similar response was observed in cows fed SiloSolve® MC treated alfalfa.
